The 38th AIVC conference "Ventilating healthy low-energy buildings" was held on 13 and 14 September 2017 in Nottingham (UK). It was also the 6th TightVent conference and the 4th venticool conference.
The 39th AIVC conference: "Smart ventilation for buildings" was held on 18 and 19 September 2018 in Juan-les-Pins, France. It was also the 7th TightVent conference and the 5th venticool conference.
Conference Scope
Energy and climate goals have been shaping many countries’ policy and legislative agendas in the EU and beyond in the past decade. The building sector plays a crucial role in achieving these goals, considering the energy use attributed to buildings and its huge potential for improved energy performance.

The 14th International Buildair Symposium: "Airtight Buildings, Thermography and Ventilation Systems in Practice" will take place on May 16 and 17, 2025 in Hanover, Germany.
The event will offer a unique opportunity to find out about the latest developments and best practices, to highlight particular challenges in airtightness testing and to exchange experiences across national borders.

The conference "IEQ 2025: Rising to new challenges: Connecting IEQ to a sustainable future”, organized by ASHRAE and AIVC, will be held in Montreal, Canada on 24-26 September 2025. The conference will also be the 13th TightVent and 11th venticool conference.

The 44th AIVC conference "Retrofitting the Building Stock: Challenges and Opportunities for Indoor Environmental Quality" was held on 9 & 10 October 2024 in Dublin, Ireland together with the 12th TightVent conference and the 10th venticool conference. The conference will took place at Croke Park.

The “DYNASTEE Building Performance Measurement Spring School” took place on 24 -27 April 2023 at the University of Salford, Manchester, UK. The training event was a condensed format of the Summer School that had been organised > 10 years and attracted over 200 participants. Lectures covered important aspects of dynamic data analysis applied to real data from in-situ measurements and energy metering for the energy performance assessment of buildings.

The 43rd AIVC conference "Ventilation, IEQ and health in sustainable buildings" was held on 4 & 5 October 2023 in Copenhagen, Denmark together with the 11th TightVent conference and the 9th venticool conference. The conference took place at Aalborg University Copenhagen.

The 42nd AIVC conference: "Ventilation Challenges in a Changing World" was held in the city of Rotterdam, the Netherlands together with the 10th TightVent and the 8th venticool conferences on October 5-6, 2022.
The 40th AIVC conference was held on 15 and 16 October 2019 in Ghent, Belgium. It was also the 8th TightVent conference and the 6th venticool conference.
