The final recommendations of the ASIEPI project: How to make EPB-regulations more effective?

Issues such as compliance with European legislation on the energy performance of buildings, the inter-comparison of building energy performance across Europe, plus specific topics such as thermal bridges, summer comfort, ventilation and the use of innovation in buildings have been tackled. Support was provided to both Member States and the European Commission, with solutions being proposed as the project unfolded.

Technical study on the possible introduction of inspection of stand-alone ventilation systems in buildings

Article 19a of Directive 2018/844, includes the requirement for the Commission to perform, before 2020, a feasibility study to clarify the possibilities and timeline for introducing two aspects in order to improve buildings’ energy performance: - The inspection of stand-alone ventilation systems and - An optional building renovation passport.
