CETIAT (Technical Centre for the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Industries) is a French research center which was set up in 1960. The staff is 140 with an annual turnover of 10.5 million Euro.

CETIAT members are 280 French manufacturers of heating, ventilation, air handling, air conditioning, dust extraction, air filtration, air drying and air humidifying equipment.

CETIAT operates co-operative research for its members and subscriptors on topics such as air quality / air management in buildings, fan noise, heat exchangers improvement, thermodynamics and new refrigerants, hot water heating systems, combustion and combustion noise, vibrations.

CETIAT has also an activity of independent testing and study center, performing tests, performance certification, calculations, technological watch, studies for its members or various customers from the industry.

CETIAT is involved in several European and standardisation groups within CEN and ISO, publishes technological watch bulletins for the industry and operates research and consultancy on various air handling equipment for building and transports, within national or European projects.
